He has been a Gemmologist, Gem Trader and a Teacher since 1983. He possesses the Fellowship Diploma in Gemmology of the Gemmological<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Gem Institute is the Gem Laboratory , Shop and the Office of&nbsp; one of the most senior Gemmologists in Sri Lanka Senarath B. Basnayake FGA,MSc. His work in the gem field include gem&nbsp; testing, certification, teaching and investment counseling, for more than 3 decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Senarath B. Basnayake obtained the Fellowship Diploma in Gemmology of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) and was elected a Fellow in 1983. Subsequently he passed the Master\u2019s Degree in Gemmology at the University of Peradeniya, the largest University in Sri Lanka. He has a Certificate from the Chartered Insurance Institute, London,&nbsp; and has also been commended by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
